Flash News: Dr. James Harrigan After a Visit to Manolya Dormitory: This is Unacceptable, I am Going to Fix It

Dr. James Harrigan speaking to the Manolya dormitory students
Few moments ago, Dr. James Harrigan, the Academic Dean of Students, visited the Manolya dormitory.

After visiting every single room with his assistant Mr. Kyle, and seeing the miserable life of the students, he called for a meeting with the students.
Dr. James Harrigan was pissed of by the scenes he saw at the dorm.

He talked to the students and said,

"I am here because of this man {Mahdi} who was courageous enough to speak up. I promise you this will not last," he said.

Dr. Harrigan promised the students to fix the problems as soon as possible.

"This will be the first priority on my agenda from tomorrow," he said.

The students showed their appreciation for the visit and asked for actual steps.

Ms. Dashnye Daloye and her staff had visited the dorms about 10 days ago, without any tangible results.

Student Eye was the first media to publish a photo story of the miserable life at the Manolya dormitor

I'm very pleased that Mr. James and Mr.Kyle came to our dorm. Now I think that freedom of speech has its benefits, because there are people who are willing to listen and take their job seriously.

well done kak Mahdi. what you had done certainly gave Dr. James food for thought.

We heard the words, well done. Now, we are waiting for actions.

It is always nice to be with people who can actually change things or cause things to change.

you are right Kak Dana, but we still afraid of being neglected by people who encourage us to take actions.

my statement is clear as kurdistan's fountain water.

The real question, why was the dorm ever allowed to deteriorate to such a condition in the first place? Oh yeah, because the university was being run by the likes of Josh Mitchell and John Agresto...neither of whom particularly give a damn about the students.

You bottled-water is really nice and pure, so it's good for you if you talk about the Kurdish fountains????? It's not clear too! be more specific; how is your writing teacher??? hope he will not be Mr. G.

Muhammad Babakr said...

from your comments mr.anonymous i can understand that you are the one who encourages people to take actions but hide themselves behind the walls.

Anonymous said...

the walls??? which walls??? "The" again it's unclear!!!!This is your third draft come on man!

Kaka Muhammad,

Thanks for your comment, I agree with you and your fear is reasonable.

Just a small note, I don't have any idea who that anonymous is. If I wanted to say something, I will make sure to say it as Dana.

By taking action I didn't mean you or the students, I meant the administration.

Good night...

Well done Mahdi!

actions speak louder than words.or As Dr. Baharm says "Krdar Sharta". let's see what they can do. can they make a change? I mean change for the better not for the worse as they were about to last time.

Guys,, today, I got more self-confidence. Do you know why???
Today in the biology class, our instructor, Dr. James Harrigam's roommate, insured us that Dr. James won't stop till he could fix the Manoly's dormitory problems,,,

Guys! You will hear nice news very soon. For now, I will just say thanks SA and Dr. James!

Mahdi Abdullah Murad said...

Guys! I am sorry for not telling you about the so-called nice news as promised. It was actually about finding a new dormitory, but it looks like it is never going to happen. So, pardon me and forget about what I said last time.
