Student Eye was the first media to announce the real reasons behind the sudden departure of Dashnye Daloye, the former Student Affairs director. Now, it provides its readers with a moment-by-moment account of Miss Daloye's last day at the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani.
January 18, 2011
8:00 am Dashnye Daloye, the Director of the Student Affairs Department, comes to AUI-S. Her office is on the second floor, main building.
9:18 am Dashnye Daloye posts on her Facebook wall saying goodbye to Carey Silverthorne, the director of the finances. She doesn’t know she is next.
10:00 am AUI-S Provost Athanasios Moulakis, Informs Dashnye Daloye that she should leave campus by 5:00 pm. Miss Daloye and Dr. Mouulakis had tensions from the beginning. AUI-S provost saw Miss Daloye as a part of the "old guard".
12:00 pm Dashnye Daloye is both sad and angry. She had planned to leave AUI-S by July when her contract ends. This notification from the provost is unexpected.
12:30 pm Dr. Moulakis says that there is no reason behind the action taken by him. He also says that there is no chance for Miss Daloye to return to her work.
1:04 pm She sends the AUI-S community an e-mail announcing her departure from AUI-S. She writes there, "Today is my last day at AUI-S."
3:19 pm She announces her departure from AUI-S on her Facebook wall. She writes, " Today is my last day at AUI-S, and I want to tell everyone that it has been a pleasure knowing you all. I am really sad to leave; however, I look forward to moving on and starting my PhD.
Keep in touch!"
3:30 pm Dashnye Daloye leaves AUI-S for good. She says that she will never come back to AUI-S unless Dr. Moulakis leaves.
5:00 pm AUI-S deactivates Dashnye Daloye's account, and tells Asia Cell to block the mobile number she was using.

In this university, no one is protected. Everyone must be ready one day to say, “Today is my last day from AUIS” or the provost send an email to any of students, faculties or teachers to leave AUIS.
NICE Liberal Art University.
Cool and well done guys..
Where in the world you got these information all??
Finally, there is something which is Student Eye to pend on knowing all the news relevant to AUI-S.
YOU GOT IT RIGHT THERE BABY..!
KEEP IT UP.
yours truly,

For the new Provost or the Rector it does not matter if you are hard working or not, or if you are qualified to do your job or not. If they don't like you, start packing your bags. In the case of Daloye she never saw it coming as she is both hard working and qualified to do her job.
This is the worst leadership duo AUIS could have, in the critical times when they are about to move to the new site! They are loose cannons, very arrogant and think the university is their own pizza shop where they can hire and fire without reason.
They should be sued for unfair dismissal, both here and in their home countries.
No one has a guarantee to stay at AUI-S, neither the students, nor the Stuff. I see being at AUI-S as a grain on the banks of a river; whenever, the rain starts it wipes out the grain with itself.
This blog is written by weird boys! YOU complained about her all the time! now you are journalist crusaders hahahah get a girlfriend youll feel better!
There's more to the story than meets the Student Eye.
It was easy to fire Ms. Daloye. But whenever you ask why auis does not kick a GREAT teacher (someone like Mr. P.) out? The answer is: He/She has a contract with the university and it is not possible until the contract ends. That is GREAT...
