First Student Signed Against Removing Sulaimani was an Arab

Although the unwise decision of removing Sulaimani from the official name of the university created some tensions between some of the AUI-S students, AUI-S students continue living together in peace.

The first student to sign the petition against the removal of Sulaimani from the official name was an Arab student. Abdullah Saad Kammona, an Arab student from Baghdad, was the first student to sign the petition against the unwise decision. 

The high level of tolerance and friendship among the AUI-S students prevented some people from creating tensions between the different ethnic groups at AUI-S.
