AUI.EDU was Going to be Used, It was a Website Already!

aui.edu was a website!  

Student Eye has gotten more details on the unwise decision to remove Sulaimani from the official name of the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani.

One of the things that was going to be changed was the address of the website. AUI-S was going to change its domain to aui.edu but that website is taken so they were going to use aui.edu.iq instead.

Student Eye contacted Bluehost and they confirmed that AUI.EDU.IQ is hosted by them. 

Our readers can visit aui.edu and see that is an already existing website. 

So it is clear that the aim of the change was not a simple change in the website, but to remove Sulaimani from the name entirely.
