The American University of Iraq-Sulaimani announces a new set of requirements for Engineering major.
According to the new requirements, Any student who applies to the Engineering major should have a high school average of 80. The students interested in applying for the Engineering department at AUIS should also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in his/her first two semesters in the academics. The third requirement is a minimum of 2.7 in Math, Science(Bilology, Physics, and IT).
Engineering major will inaugurated next year in the spring semester.
Dr. John Agresto, former AUIS provost, announced the opening of a major in engineering August, 2010. Student Eye was the first media to publish the news back then.
