Kosar in front of an announcementfor his event on AUI-S campus |
Kosar Osman Chewar, an Information Technology Junior at the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani, translates "Home" a documentary made by Yann Arthus-Bertrand to Kurdish.
The documentary, which is described by National Geography Channel as "illustrating the planet's fragile state entirely from a birds-eye view in stunning high definition" will be presented in Sulaimani Cultural Hall (Holi Roshnbiri) on the coming Friday at 3 pm.
The Kurdish commentary of the documentary movie is made by Hamid Banayi, a known Kurdish singer with a unique voice.
Kosar, who is the son of the great Kurdish actor Osman Chewar, says that all the AUI-S students and faculty are invited for the event.

Well done Kak Kosar gian We feel really proud to have you at AUI-S. I hope you will be contniued in doing such dramatic activitites.
Well done Kosar for two reasons,
1- Promoting saving the environment through these works
2- It is always nice to see that people really do something for their real home. You should be a model for us as the AUI-S students.
Keep it up
