Amongst news of bank's bankruptcy, AUI-S finance offices asks students not to submit their tuition payments at Al-Warka bank, and an official from the bank says they have no problems.
Zinya Kazzaz, from AUI-S finances offices, sent out an e-mail to AUI-S students asking them to stop dealing with Warka bank, which has a branch on AUI-S campus since last year.
Kazzaz told Student Voice that she doesn’t know what is going on with Warka bank.
In the past few weeks, there were some news of Warka bank’s bankruptcy in the Kurdish media in Suleimaniyah.
Student Voice reached Umar Sideq Umar Al-Barazanchi, Warka’s Kuysanjaq branch manager, on phone. Al-Barazanchi said that they are doing well.
It is still unclear why AUI-S has stopped dealing with Warka bank.
Al Warka is the first Iraqi bank managed by private sector, established in 1999.

there is a real problem with Warka Bank, and it is about bankrupt.
"It is still unclear why AUI-S has stopped dealing with Warka bank."
How can you say this? Warka is going bankrupt. A bankrupt bank is a pretty clear reason.
Perhaps you like it better if AUI-S doesn't warn you, and you lose your money.
