he is kind of a dictator!!!!!!!!!!!!
He doesn't understand how are things in this country. He thinks everything is like USA and we all want to be similar to him. He is too informal and isolates himself from the students. It is a big embarrassment for media to see him as a director because of his clothes. Everyday is not hiking club!!
It is a bit scary that he is running all academics at AUIS!! He is too out of touch with students and Iraq. He has set ideas and does not take in new information that easily . . . I think he is not a storng leader but a weak leader for professors. .. He is nice man, but maybe AUIS should find a new Dean!
he is NOT the dean of students, why should he be so in touch with the student??? I do not think these comments are being fair.
AUI-S could not find anyone to make him the dean after Mr. James Harigan, so they desparately promoted Mr. Darcy to dean. I think that it is a sin to compare Mr. Darcy to Mr. Harigan. Mr. Harigan was the man of his words. if he said he would do something, he would do it. He had a big role as a dean. Now i don't feel that there is a dean in AUI-S. Since the begining of this semester, i have not seen Mr. Darcy doing something good as the dean. He only know to node for you when you are discussing a problem with him, but that problem will never be solved.
